VENUES

As for my¬†recommendations for venues, I strictly look at these venues from a photographer’s viewpoint. With that being said, here is what I can say about the following venues where I have had the opportunity to photograph a wedding and/or engagement session.

BELHURST CASTLE

Located at the North end on the West side of Seneca Lake, there are so many photographic opportunities here we sometimes have to cut back. The lake, pier, railroad tracks, the gorgeous grounds of the castle, and if you get a crappy day, inside the castle is almost as spectacular as outside. Very hard to go wrong here.

VENTOSA VINEYARDS

Located at the North end on the East side of Seneca Lake right across the lake from Belhurst Castle is another gem of the Finger Lakes. You have an expansive vineyard area that slopes almost down to the lake. Sunsets are amazing on the East side of the lake. The decor inside the main ballroom is of an Italian Villa. Another exceptional place for wedding photographs.

WATKINS GLEN HARBOR HOTEL

Located at the very bottom end of Seneca Lake, Harbor Hotel gives you the harbor feel with many sailboats in the harbor. The iconic red building at the end of the pier is a must for any wedding shoot. There are railroad tracks and out on the pier is a wall of stones water break, great for spectacular photography with a nice clean look up Seneca Lake. Sunsets on the pier are awesome.
